COVID 19
We have put a lot of time into developing processes which will ensure everybody’s safety.
Here is what you need to know;
What are we doing to protect you?
We are taking hygiene and sanitation very seriously. The clinic will be regularly sterilised throughout the day and all staff will be vigilant with handwashing and hygiene. Between patient appointments osteopaths will be thoroughly disinfecting plinths, linen, surfaces and themselves in preparation for your consult. We have allowed for extra time between appointments to factor for the time this will take.
What should you do and expect when you arrive for your appointment?
What if you are anxious or think you fall into a high-risk category?
We are going to do everything we can to help you – if you are in any way concerned or wondering if it is safe to come in please phone our receptionists and if needed they will organise for your osteopath to call you and plan the safest way to treat you. If you are immunocompromised, fall into the over 70s category, or just feel uneasy please let us know.
If you are unwell do not come into the clinic under any circumstance.
Did you have an appointment during lockdown?
Expect to hear from our wonderful reception team shortly. We are looking forward to seeing you.
Are you a primary healthcare or essential worker?
Please let our receptionists know and we will do our very best to priortise your appointment.
What are the free consultations on offer currently?
Phone consult - we’ll book a time to have a chat over the phone. Let’s face it, sometimes it’s nice to communicate with someone outside our bubbles! But more than that there are plenty of tips and advice we can offer you.
Telehealth consult - this online platform allows us to have face-to face contact with you (a little like the app Houseparty, but a safe and professional health platform), both of us protected in our respective bubbles.
Physitrack - we are excited to offer this service. We can send to your email or smartphone (you will have to download the app) tailored exercises, stretches and a wealth of other body-health resources. The videos are informative and easy to follow – we are big fans of this tool!).
We are posting lots on our Facebook page – including health tips and some entertaining videos showing what the team are up to in their bubbles. Check it out here. And remember, these are unprecedented times, look after your mental health. If you are feeling a bit fragile you might want to look at Just a Thought.

What should you do and expect when you arrive for your appointment?
- Park in the clinic carpark and wait in your car. Someone will come and get you – our receptionist’s will be watching the carpark like hawks, so they will know you have arrived. In the unlikely event that the carpark is full, park on the road and ring reception to let them know where you are.
- Please bring as few personal items into your appointment as possible. If you are bringing a child or baby, please bring a toy from home for them to play with. We will not be offering any toys or magazines.
- There is a sanitising station as you enter the clinic. Please thoroughly sanitise your hands before entering.
- To minimise the number of people in the clinic and maintain social distancing, we ask that ONLY the individuals receiving treatment and, at most, one carer enter the clinic. We ask that the remaining family members remain in the car.
- Most importantly smile, relax and welcome back to a place where you are safe, and your body will be looked after.
